Where most beginners get stuck
Italian looks approachable until you hit gendered nouns, verb conjugations, and the gap between written and spoken language. This course addresses those friction points early, so they do not become walls later.
What the course covers
We start with phonetics - Italian pronunciation is consistent once you understand the rules. From there, lessons move into greetings, numbers, time, food, and travel vocabulary. Grammar is introduced in context, not as isolated rules.
Practical from day one
Every lesson includes short listening exercises recorded by native speakers from different Italian regions. You will hear real speech patterns, not studio-perfect audio that sounds nothing like a conversation in Rome or Naples.
Honest expectations
By the end of this course, you will handle basic interactions with confidence - ordering food, asking directions, introducing yourself. Fluency takes longer. This is a solid, honest beginning.
The goal is functional communication, not perfection. Perfection comes with years of practice.
